I am still not getting breathing rate and HRV data. I have verified that My versa3 is up to date and my app is up to date. Your "fix" did not fix the issue.

Hi Suzy1978,
I believe, after reading so many with Androids having unsolvable difficulties with the Fitbit and its app, it seems to me that either you try to sell your Droid and purchase an iPhone. Before you buy it, however (only from an Apple store) and have them see if your Fitbit is compatible. It probably will be. Since my only upgrade since I got the Fitbit fixed Ann the problems I was having, there are no problems.
I know it’s frustrating, and all the confusion surrounding the problems don’t help, this would be my suggestion

Thanks but no thanks in the past month I have just upgraded both my phone and Fitbit. I have seen a lot of Apple users commenting in this thread too saying they are having the same data and sync issues.

Nope. But if you have no other recourse, you may need to get hold of an iPhone, new or used ( the platform is the same) get the latest of the Fitbit ( mine is Versa 3). I believe the Fitbit watch and the Android phone are incompatible ( they speak different languages

This hasn't helped. Followed all troubleshooting suggestions. Still no luck synching my Charge 3 to Android v9. When is a fix expected that works for all?

I don't have the $$ to break my contract and then the cost of a new iPhone ( nearly 800 for my contract and 1200 for a new iPhone). I never had any issues with my Charge 3 and Android.

Hi Suzy1978,
My iPhone XR, and the upgrade for my Fitbit solved my issues. Whatever type of Fitbit you have, check for updates. So far, I have had only one upgrade and it resolved all my issues.
Check specifically about possible updates for your type of Fitbit. If there is one, uninstall the present Fitbit app, reinstall the Fitbit app. This should put your Fitbit in sync with your iPhone…

I just called customer service and operator had no idea of issue and had no other calls reporting this problem. I would suggest everyone with an issue take 10 mins to call customer service line listed in app under help.

Really? We should buy an iPhone for hundreds of dollars to fix a software glitch for a separate piece of hardware that costs substantially less? When the company that sold is that piece of hardware advertised it as working with Android and is perfectly capable of fixing a software problem they accidentally created? Sorry, that doesn't seem like a realistic or reasonable fix. And as Suzy says, there are plenty of iPhone users who run into issues as well. And not for nothing, but Google owns both Android and Fitbit. I'm optimistic they'll figure it out, as infuriating as it is at the moment.

I know so crazy. I was shocked when he said it was his first call about it...ugh!

Ben.ew,
Hey, I’m with you on this…the last thing we should have to do is replace our existing devices with new ones…
Ben, my suggestion is more of a “Last Ditch effort” to avoid high blood pressure
