Android app overruling total distance of exercise

The Fitbit app on my phone froze today while out doing a Half Marathon. I couldn't get it to respond so I turned my phone off and continued running with my Fitbit Charge tracker. When I came to sync my tracker to my phone after completing 22.5K (tracker figure) my phone overruled it to a distance of 12.81, the distance at which it stopped responding. I have been running a half marathon every month for a year and this was my last one and I was to submit my evidence for a virtual medal to celebrate. Now what?? I've tried syncing my Fitbit my my computer directly but no joy. Is there anyway I can prove that I did the 22.5K distance.

Hello there @Oldladyfox, nice to have you here as a new member of the Fitbit Community! It been a few days since you posted so I'm wondering how it goes?

Perhaps there was a delay to compile your total distance due to the app topped working on that day. Have you reviewed if your total distance was synced afterwards?

If the issue continues, I would like to request a screenshot so I can have a closer look to find a solution. If you need more help with screenshots the following post will give you some extra help.

See you later and keep me posted.

Hi
Thanks for getting back to me. I ended up deleting the run recorded on my
phone app and that resulted in my account showing the run as recorded on my
tracker. So basically I'm sorted thanks.
