Hello, I just bought my fitbit and am having a hard time with receiving text notifications. I bought the fitbit charge 2 and it seems that maybe my phone is to old to get the notifications. I have an LG lancet. I believe I bought it in 2014. Is there a way that I can sync this so that I can get call and text notifications? Is there a phone update or any other such thing that I can do that will solve this problem without having to buy a new phone?
Thank you,
Amanda

Hello there @1385a, nice to see you have joined the Fitbit Community! I was reading your post and it seems your phone is not listed as a compatible device, so in this case the recommendation is that your phone has the minimum OS requirement as Android 4.4 (KitKat).
Due to the large number of Android devices, Fitbit has not yet tested all models. If a device is not listed on fitbit.com/devices, this simply means we haven’t yet tested it.
If you are not receiving notifications it would not hurt to try the following suggestions: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).
Hope this helps. See you until the next opportunity.
