Hi, got to the end of a ride, in a location with no cell/data coverage. Started the fitbit app to look at the stats and pretty much everything on the screen is grey. I thought the whole thing was dead, so ignored it for a couple of hours.
(Tried uploading screenshot for this message but failed - easy to reproduce though, turn off data connection then start fitbit app.)
But then I accidentally noticed that you can click on any of the tiles and you do get through to the next screen... but you have no idea of what any of the tiles are! Could the tiles have default images so that the app is more useful when offline??
(I also noticed that after getting a data connection back, grey icons appear on the dashboard, but all other content is pretty much broken. It'd be nice if the whole dashboard could recover (not just the icons) - those of us that often don't have data coverage can hit this problem easily.)

Hello @Phil214.
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback on that.
Perhaps you could support this suggestion about having an option to sync while offline. While it is listed as Not Currently Planned, you can vote for it to show your support. Be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

I came here looking for a solution to my problem and Phil214's hint has helped me. With the latest update to the Android app it looked like I would not be able to track my walks since the screen is grey - I do not have data on my phone and so no internet when I am out walking. I did tap on the screen where I though it should be and I am able to start tracking. To me this update is asinine, why would you remove a feature? I never had an issue tracking while offline until now. I am not asking for offline synching, I would like this bug fixed - show me the screen and where to tap without me having to guess. Please put the screen back to what it used to be. Thank you.
