I updates my fitbit Ionic a few days ago. And since then my fitbit can not sync or take a really really long time (more than 10min). It has also been making my app crash. When I go to open my app it just shows the fitbit symbol and will not do anything. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app has not helped. I have reset my fitbit Ionic and restarted my phone. This is just compoundong other issue I am having lately with the fitbit app (not showing all steps in challenges) and customer support has been anything but helpful or supportive.

Hi there @Rebecs1993, I was reading your post that the app is crashing or is taking long periods of time to sync or doesn't sync at all. My apologies for the late response and you did goo to try troubleshoot this issue on your own.
For syncing issues this post will give you some extra steps from what you have tried already: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
I would recommend to update your Fitbit app. Recently was released a new version for Android that contained some stability improvements that will improve the functionality of the app over all. for more details refer to this post.
If the issue persist or even after the update of the app, try to perform these steps:
log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. (This may vary depending of the Android device and the OS version)
Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.
See you later and hope this helps.
