I don't have a Fitbit device I use my Samsung a40 with the app.
This worked until around the 17th june, since then I've been unable to sync. The app counts calories burned but has stopped performing a step count which is the thing I use the most.
I've logged in & out numerous times, updated the app and phone to no avail. What else can I try?

Welcome to the Forums @Sqweeker79.
Thanks for bringing this up and sharing everything that you have tried so far.
This might be happening because the A40 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
Having said the above, perhaps you could try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it. That will help in case the issue is on the way the Fitbit is installed.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for your reply!
The annoying thing is the app was working fine last week.
I've since tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times to no avail.

Hello @Sqweeker79.
Thanks for trying the restart and uninstalling.
It is possible that an update on the app or the phone itself caused further optimization issues that led to this happening. That would explain why it was working in the past.
Perhaps you could support this idea about adding that phone to the list. You can comment on it or vote for it to show that you'd like to see it implemented. If you do go over there, be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how the board works.
Let me know if there are any other questions I can help out with. I hope to see you around.
