I have checked that all notifications are turned on, location services are on but my Verizon Galaxy S7 Edge isn't showing the Blaze when I do a scan for devices. I just get the message that no Bluetooth devices are found. I have unpaired other devices, turned off location and Bluetooth services, rebooted the phone and turned the Bluetooth and location back on but the phone is still saying that it can't locate any Bluetooth devices. I have recharged the Fitbit last night so it's on a full charge. Any suggestions?
Update:
The Blaze briefly showed up on the list of Bluetooth devices (i have no idea how) but when I tried to pair I got messages that the Blaze rejected the pairing. Now again it's not showing up as an available device to pair.

Of course it rejected the pairing @koltov, what is it that you are trying to do?
The only way to setup the tracker is to connect it to your account, using the app, then after it is connected the app will pair the tracker, if it needs up.
Now if the trqcker is already setup to a fitbit account, open the Fitbit app, log in, and let it sync.

OK..I apologize...I didn't run through the entire scenario. I started by opening the app. It usually syncs when I first open the app. This time, it just hung for about 10 minutes and I got a message that it couldn't sync (I can't remember the wording). You asked what I was trying to do... I was TRYING to download the firmware update. When I clicked on the download button for the firmware update, it also hung and finally came up with a message saying it couldn't locate the Blaze.
Then you can pick up from my original post.
