I have a Samsung Note8, purchased the Fitbit Versa, love it! I have been having problems with auto connect via Bluetooth in my car (Chevy Traverse). I did every imaginable reset you could think of on my phone, got a replacement phone, still the same problem. Took my car to the dealership to check for firmware update, updated the radio system, still the same problem. Reading thru all the previous threads on the subject and come to find out it’s the Fitbit app itself creating all the havoc!! Please fix this!!

@SunsetRunner there are a couple of the Note range in the list and have just noticed they have now added the s9 range for phone so it may be a working progress - you may still get some app functionality (if the app has been fixed properly) on the notes as its as much to do with the OS ie Lollipop, Oreo etc, and there is always the procedure that shall not be mentioned that could provide a working app for the device (some site provide back versions of the app) but I cannot mention as will get into trouble but it has been mentioned in some of the threads
https://www.fitbit.com/devices#
https://www.fitbit.com/devices#galaxy_note_8_0
so depending on how you get to the compatibility list depends possible on which device list you get
like you said this list does not show many

so another thumbs down for Fitbit in updating there links on there web pages

@SunsetRunner Hi and Welcome - Yes the app is a big point in contention at the moment and has been ongoing for a while now - please refer to the following link for updates should they be forthcoming.
also just as a point of information the following may help if you have further issues connecting to a vehicle
and
Is the Fitbit app interfering with other Bluetooth devices
although some of the referrals are to Ford Vehicles I wondered if they could be relevant to all vehicle connection problems
Hope this helps
Kind Regards
Wayne

@SunsetRunner Hi - to find the version of the App you are running - on your phone go to settings>apps>Fitbit and scroll to the bottom of the page should have then version number should be .77 if you have the latest
as for the Bluetooth you may need to again un pair turn off phone then re pair again if it is still an issue with the vehicle you may have to re-visit the links provided previously or contact Customer Support
This is for the UK but should you need to change country scroll to the bottom and look for United Kingdom with a down arrow next to it and click on the arrow now you can select your relevant country and the page will refresh
Kind Regards

Well now I have just discovered the Samsung Note 8 is not compatible with The Fitbit app. 😒. In fact I didn’t see any of the (notes) on the compatibility list.
