Hello everyone.
I got the Charge 3 since a month or so, the initial setup did work and after a three hours and 15 minutes firmware update (and another one about a week later) it seems it did work. Since a couple of days I do not get new data in the app. It is unable to sync and told me it last synced on 01.01.2019 on 6 am local time.
Other bluetooth devices (I only have a bluetooth headset) seem to work and there appears a "Charge 3" in the bluetooth device list.
So I tried everything, restarting the Charge3 and restarting the phone. Clearing cache of the android app, removing all other paired devices... Nothing seems to work, it does not sync (gets stuck at the "syncing..." ). Also tried these steps while it was charging over USB.
I was able to change the clock face though (it was a new one, I needed to download it first), and I can see the heartbeat in the dashboard. On the Charge3 the "weather" app tells me that I need to sync with my phone.
Other threads suggest I should repair the device. However, if I try to remove it from within the app, it tells me I will lose all unsynced data. Which I want to avoid at first.
Any suggestions on that?
I am using 24h hours sync with all the other two bluetooth options I can enable from within the app. Any changes to any of those settings doesnt seem to change anything

I am also having the same issue. I tried updating everything and restarting everything and uninstalling the app to reinstall the app... Nothing has worked and my Charge 3 has not synced with my LG V30+ since the first either. Any help would be greatly appreciated - this was a Christmas gift,I would hate if it didn't work like it Iis supposed to.

Unable to sync my Charge3 for 2 months. Continues to say "Sync error please try again". Only thing that works on it is the time and heart rate. What's up with this thing? Doesn't even count steps anymore...

Same problem here. Suspect it is a bigger problem. Anyone from Fitbit check these forums? Didn't have problem with same phone and Charge 2.

I got problems to with charge 3 I reset it then deleted it and reinstalled it still only syncs when it feels like and I lost 3 weeks of exercise it had logged and badges I had collected. It's about time this problem was sorted out they quick enough to take your money.
