Brand new versa lite refusing to start

I am trying t setup my brand new versa lite and I am just not able to update the firmware at 1st connection. It says update failed and just refuses to start. Tried restarting the phone, laptop, iphone everything that I tried to sync with but it just says update failed and I can only see the white dots on versa lite. So fed up with nothing happening that I feel lie throwing away this fitbit

This is happening to me right now also.  Tried via iOS and Android, every troubleshooting step and nothing works.  Getting ready to take back

Unfortunately I cant even send it back, will only have to throw away the device. Dont know if this is an issue from fitbit servers

I also just received my New Versa lite in mail today .... Been waiting and waiting only to be disappointed can't set up 😏

This happened to me today as well. Just gor my new replacement charge 2 and it will not update firmware. I even opened a new Fitbit account and still doesn't work.
