Caller ID showing previous caller's name

When I receive a phone call it used to display who was calling, now it displays the same contact all the time. So if My husband is calling me it says my mum's calling me on the fitbit. It's happened 3 times now. And not just with my husband calling. But always says mum's calling.

Same exact problem Samsung J7. This is after a year of getting no notifications at all. Fit bit just randomly started working on August 23red, worked perfect for about a week and the the on 9/2 started telling me the person who called last's number over and over

Very important that they correct asap. Was waiting for a doctor to call back and the caller id said it was my coworker since that is the last person to call and I missed the dr call!! Not good.

• I am facing this same issue as wrong called ID displays even after trying all the troubleshoots also my Alta HR does not restart(having said tried the 3 time pressing with pause of 1-2 sec between.fitbit log does not appear). I have reached out to Fitbit support for the same and they too not able to solve my issue.its been 2 weeks now.

It's happening to me also. The last two weeks.  I've done everything suggested.  My text messages show the correct name but incoming phone calls all show the same name.    Maybe Fitbit needs to correct this

Please keep me on the list because having a handicap husband I need to know when he calls.  Everyone that's calls comes up.as my niece. Very frustrating

And now I am not getting any notifications on my Fitbit ... I am so close to throwing it out and going with Garmin! This has been months of problems Fitbit. Get it together!!  I HAVE to have notifications on my watch. I am a teacher and it is essential to student safety that if a lockdown is called via text I see it!!

very disappointing that fitbit is not communicating more directly to users on this problem.  had mother in hospital and could have missed important calls thinking they were spam.

Mine is doing the same since I updated the app. Caller I'd is always the same person (who hasn't rung me for over a week now.)

It seems that version 3.6 of the android app is out on Play Store. 
Maybe this update fixes some of the issues you have?

That is terrible. For me this was an inconvenience and very irritating. But
for you this is much more certainly adding stress at an already difficult
time.

Last week I have told to escalate this issue to the Philippines team.They have told me they have...Not sure if they have as I still not received any reply from them. I can't even restart my device to know if that works for me. If Fitbit under warranty they may replace your device. But I don't have that option too. This very frustrating...

I did as you instructed and my phone just remembers one phone number to display.  I tested out with work number and had another number to call.  It's stuck on my work number.  No text messages come through either.

I've had my charge 2 for almost 2 years and worked perfectly. This same issue [where in your call notifications it shows previous caller's name and not the actual person calling] started happening right after the last update. Please advise when bug is fixed.
