When I receive a phone call it used to display who was calling, now it displays the same contact all the time. So if My husband is calling me it says my mum's calling me on the fitbit. It's happened 3 times now. And not just with my husband calling. But always says mum's calling.

Hi guys,
I have recently bought a charge 2. Whenever I recieve the message on my phone the band vibrates but the name on the band is wrong. It is showing the same name for all the senders. Any idea what could be the problem. I have tried restarting my phone and the band, but the problem still persists

@Himanshu18 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that the incorrect name shows on your device. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible? You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

For about a month now my Fitbit charge 2 only shows one caller ID for example it always tells me it is my Dad calling when it isn't!
Also it is only giving me the name of the person sending a text message and not the message.
I have done the latest update a week ago and the app is telling me it's up to date. Any ideas on why this is happening?!

yup I keep getting this 226... number when it's my husband calling. That is not his number then that same number came up today when it was my dog's vet calling. Also still having the no text messages showing up which has been happening for a while now. This is just getting stupid. Fix it already!

I am having the same issue, different callers and the same name shows up, can't stand it.

Same issue here with Alta HR. Tried the Alta HR on different Galaxy S7 phones and got the same result. Not sure if it's a bug with the latest app or my Fitbit profile, either way I need to get this resolved asap. Thx

I had to completely uninstall and reinstall the app to get it to work again.

I'm having problems with my texts not showing on Charge 2 also. When you uninstalled the app, did you lose all saved info that had been accumulating?

Lately when getting incoming call the fitbit readout is showing prior phone call ID and not current call. Any advise?

My Fitbit only either shows my husband or my daughter is calling even when it's not them. It also does not show my text messages. Only the name of the person texting

Same thing as well. Only shows my sister is calling when it is not her. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it thinking that would help, but it did not.

Same problem, has been happening for a while now, shows the wrong caller, usually the same caller everytime. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Since reinstall it has shown the name of the first person to call me everytime. Text messages work fine. Moto G6.
