When I receive a phone call it used to display who was calling, now it displays the same contact all the time. So if My husband is calling me it says my mum's calling me on the fitbit. It's happened 3 times now. And not just with my husband calling. But always says mum's calling.

How to correct the caller ID and notification sync up it kinda has a mind of its own. How can I reset and maybe test it

This is happening to me also. Answered a spam caller as fitbit said it was my Partner. Hope this is resolved soon ☹.

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then?
If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Charge 2 are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process that can be really helpful.

I am not her, but having the same problem. I have a Charge HR 2 and a Pixel 2XL phone. The calls come on the phone as the previous call. In other words, it pops the caller ID of the last number that called me, not the current one calling. AND text messages only show the person, not the scroll of the message.

I am having the same issue. I was able to rectify the caller id with the instructions you posted thank you. However I am still not able to read my messages it just gives me the name of person who is sending me the message. This is really frustrating. I have a Charge 2.

My caller ID started working perfectly yesterday. Everyone that called me yesterday and so far today has been correct. I didnt do anything to make it work. Maybe Fitbit fixed it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and experience with the device and the caller ID that is continuously showing the same contact information. I'm sorry to see that you've been having trouble with this feature.
Before considering other options, please let me know the following details:
- Phone model that you're using to setup the notifications.
- The Android version that your phone is running at the moment
- Check if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version available.
In the meantime, if you haven't done so already, make sure that you've tried to restart your Fitbit device. If you continue to experience the same behavior, try to disable the notifications completely and set them up again following the steps in this article.

When people call my phone, the same number comes up each time on my fitbit altra even though they are different number on my phone I.e husband calls and shows up on phone but according to fitbit my dad is calling??

I try that many times but same problem. I have problem only with wrong caller id. With messages I don't have any problem. I use Samsung Galaxy S7.

Me too. Text message sender appears, but no message - despite several attempts to fix this has been ongoing for a number of weeks now - and in the past week, each time I get a call on the mobile, the Fitbit always shows the name of the previous caller. I have a Charge 2 and am using a Galaxy Note 9 phone.
