Calorie Numbers No Longer Add Up

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

All,

I am used to monitoring my energy intake and expenditure in the log screen of my app.

The numbers have always added up for me in the past, but with a recent update the numbers no longer add up.

Screenshot_20190730-173159(2).png

Example based on the attached screenshot.

Expected behavior:

2306 cals out - 802 cals in - 750 (my target) = 754 cals remaining in budget

Actual behavior:

2306 cals out - 802 cals in <then some magic happens> = 1,015 cals remaining in budget.

In this case the estimated remaining budget is ~250 calories too high, but I have seen this figure be much more extreme.

Once the day is over, the numbers line up again, so it only seems to happen during the current day.

my guess would be this is some failed attempt at a predictive algorithm of what I will have spend energy wise at the end of the day, but I don't want that.   I want actual numbers only.  I don't trust any algorithm to predict anything with any kind of accuracy, which is why I only want real actual current numbers.

Please fix this error.

I'm having the same issue. I don't know when it started because I just started back with logging my food again last week. Plus I don't   understand how the dashboard number for calories left can be

1,040 when I haven't entered anything then I click on the food section to add food & it says (ate breakfast, not entered yet & did walk)

0 cals in - 741 cals out

524 calls left in your

How does it go from 1,040 to 524?
