Hello. I've read all the posts about how the calories in/out vs. Calories left to eat work, and I understand. However, my bar graph that shows whether I was 'in the zone' for the week has changed to red...days after having finished my calorie logs. Has anyone else seen this?
I understand if it had been estimating I would burn more and then I didn't so it would turn from green to red overnight, but this isn't the case. It was green for days and all of a sudden switched to red.
I know I wasn't over that day, so it's fine... just wondering if anyone else has this issue?

Hi @Jourdanerin
Moved this thread from the One to the Android section since more relevant to the topic and increases the chance of getting a solution.
Any chance possibly changed to a new weight goal / deficit meanwhile?

Hi
I've noticed this too - I set my goal very recently to 'maintenance', and since I put on one pound, all my previous calories in/out readings for the past week, and longer, have changed ('in the zone' or under have now changed to red/over). Eg, last night I was 'under budget', now, I'm over.
Why does the app, or the fitbit system in general (not sure which is at 'fault' to be honest) have to apply new settings to old results/readings? There should be something in the system which applies A change in goal to results from that day only, ie from the day the goal was set, not to all previous results. Is it just me thinks that's a lousy way of calculating things?
Look at it this way - if I wanted to gain weight, and I entered the figures today, all my old results will probably go 'under budget'. It's stupid, if you ask me. Or I've missed something.
