I've noticed two things recently.... For the past few weeks, on my Fitbit dashboard, the "Calories In" doesn't automatically update when I start the app. I have to click in that tile to get it to pull from MFP (where I log my food). Then the tile would update. Although annoying, it wasn't the end of the world.
As of last week, the "Calories In" tile isn't updating correctly. After I click in the tile, the food information refreshes and shows how many calories in, out and left. But when I go back to the dashboard, it only updates calories eaten. The amount I have left to eat does not match what is listed when I click in the tile itself (which is what I'm using as the correct information).

I have this same issue. It's surprising that it has not been fixed for > 1 year. This is pretty important since the dashboard is the first thing one sees and it is not accurate (i.e. Shows that you can eat more calories that you really can). For weight loss, this is a significant error. For example, the discrepancy for me right now is 154 calories on the dashboard (telling me to eat 154 more than I should). I am using the Samsung galaxy s9 on Android 8.0.
I am testing my fitness pal with map my walk, fitbit, Garmin, and Polar, and I will not likely purchase a fitbit with this type of error. I have a fitbit one right now and looking to upgrade to the ionic, and my wife is looking to get a fitbit Alta, though we will probably get something else at this point.
