Calories out in 'food' wrong

ANSWERED

There's always been an issue where the 'calories out = 775' in the food screen barchart isn't anywhere near the value shown in the 'today = 2366' values. (I don't have a screenshot for this). You can see the barchart for yesterday was low too.

What I have today is the calories in the 'energy burned' are correct, but both values in 'food' are wrong.

App is latest version, I've restarted phone (Samsung A54) and resynced (although it does have the correct values somewhere anyway 🙂 )

Screenshots below.

@martoff   I moved your post to the Android app forum, a better fit for this issue.

I'm noticing the same issue as of yesterday, 10/13/2025. Clearing the cache fixes it for that moment, but then the calories get stuck at whatever they were when I cleared the app cache. Hopefully Google is aware of this issue and working on a fix.

Yeah, that whole page is a bit broken when it comes the calories out value. Some areas it's ok some times, other areas different times! It's a pain as it's one of the main features of the watch I use.

Hi, @martoff@xlevix10, please review Calories out - Fitbit Community. I don't think your problem is precisely the same, but it might be related.

Please post here again & let us know how you get on.

Cheers

Hi Gr4ndp4, yes a very similar issue. I've already reinstalled the app. and get the same problem.

Hi @Gr4ndp4, thanks for linking the post and offering the suggestions. I do see that you've escalated the bug, very grateful for that! Unfortunately for me, resetting the app only fixes the problem for a day, then it comes right back. Just like you, I noticed this issue after I upgraded to the Pixel Watch 4.

This problem began for me today (11/12/25). I have cleared the cache, force stopped, etc. To no avail.

@Lem5 , Thank you for your message and report. Our team is still looking into this.

Please keep an eye open for any Fitbit app update.

We will be releasing a new one in the next few days.
I cannot assure that the update will have a fix but at least it should improve the performance.
