I moved my account a few days ago.
Today, I can't log in to the app (But I can to the dashboard on the web).
I click on sign in with Google. My Google ID shows up, then I get:
Something went wrong - Please Try again.
I have tried it for hours.
I did all the recommendations in other threads (Restart phone, clear cache, reinstall app, vpn, etc.) to no avail.
Version 3.83.1.1.fitbit-mobile-38346051
Android Version 13
Latest updates for both.
I read about a version 3.84 being available, but it is not on the play store.
Thanks

Hi everyone! Thank you for the heads-up. Let's give a warm welcome to the new members of the community.
All your help and reports are truly appreciated. While I was reading the whole thread, I noticed you found a workaround for this situation. As mentioned before by @FLGallo, you can try to switch the internet connection from Wi-Fi to your cellular data. This seems to be working for most of you, so I decided to choose his post as the Best Answer.
Let me tell you that our specialist team is aware of this inconvenience, and they are taking care of the situation in order to find a fix for it. We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

Same here. Cannot log in using a Google account. Recently switched from a Fitbit account to a Google account. It says "Something went wrong. Please try again.".

This is my experience too.
Might be coincidental, however the issue appeared roughly when I moved over to my Google account.

The workaround only “kind of” works. Yes, I can log into the app (the app is completely inaccessible with Wi-Fi on… you can’t even log in) but the app is still pretty buggy. For example, the app no longer recognizes my Fitbit Premium membership (my membership is valid until this coming September) and wants me to pay for a new one. Also, various tiles appear and disappear each time I do a synch.
As noted by others, this is only an issue for the people who switched their data over to their Google account. My wife’s Fitbit login/account works fine.
I moved over to my Google account 10 days ago. For me, the app had its normal level of glitches until this morning when it stopped synching and then wouldn’t let me log in.

I hope so, I don't like dealing with this inconvenience. I like many others depend on our dashboards being up to date and current

Hello, I have an inspire 3 watch and S20 samsung phone. The watch works fine the fitbit app itself keeps saying "something went wrong" when I try to login with my Google account. This issue is reoccurring and very frustrating. I have tried uninstalling and clearing the app cache multiple times and it won't work. There doesn't appear to be am update on the Google playstore avaliable. Please help.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Mackenziejstone!
Having started at Jun 27, 15:58 PDT, there have been intermittent issues with logging in and syncing for Fitbit users who had migrated their Fitbit accounts to Google or had created a new Google account for their Fitbit devices because one of the corresponding Google servers was overloaded. This issue is resolved by now.

I had the same problem yesterday, southern Europe, but it came back to normal this morning.
It was working in the meantime if I switched off my WIFI and used DATA instead, you could try !

This is now the second day with issues. The app tells me "something is wrong." I was able to log in this morning after the app was down yesterday, and it's now down again.
Wtf is going on, and how has Fitbit not called a P1 or P2? There is also no communication with their outsourced agents as most of them tell you to do basic troubleshooting knowing full well this is an internal issue.
I'm so **ahem** angry.

@SquirrellyJes @Bobbyhez @fashileak Hi there and welcome to the Community.
I want to let you know that I just merged this whole thread into another one. We are already tracking this inconvenience when trying to log in.
A workaround that some other users found was using a different internet connection. For example, if you are using Wi-Fi, let's try to use cellular data instead.
As mentioned before, a specialist team is already taking care of the situation and working hard to find a solution. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

I have had similar problems since I migrated to Google on Monday. My account keeps hanging up, won't sync. I chatted with someone on the fitbit help site and was told to turn off my wifi and get in on my phone. That did work, but I use my tablet for Fitbit, with wifi. (My phone data is limited.) I finally got it to pair to my tablet today after many of the "something went wrong" screens, but it still isn't syncing reliably. It's not showing my readiness score or sleep information. It seems like every time I go to the app, something new is working, but something else has stopped working. I can't get into the PC version of the site at all today.
Also, this morning, when I was getting ready to go for my daily walk, I discovered that it removed the exercises I had chosen, the ones I actually use, and put in ones I don't want. So walking, general "workout" and yoga are gone, but I have run, bike, and swim, none of which I use. And I can't change them. When I go to the exercise area of the app, where I used to be able to select from a list of exercise types, it just lists ones that it auto recognizes, but there are no options to actually set these, and auto recognition on a walk doesn't use the GPS, so no map. I had to use "run" in place of walk, even though I'm not running, just to get my map and distance. I assume--I hope--this is yet another bug they have to fix, because why this random set of exercise options that I never used before? I am absolutely HATING this Google-infested product that I used to love, and next time I buy a tracker, it won't be this brand. VERY frustrated.

Mine hasn't synced in nearly 12 hours. I can only get it to attempt to sync by pulling down on the main screen. Telling it to sync in the profile does nothing. Just keeps telling me to "sit tight". This is why I quit using Fitbit products originally and I'm about ready to quit for the last time because it keeps not syncing unless I force it.

EstuardoFitbit = my unit is telling me I need to log in with Google to keep my renew active services? Message "to remain a member of your Fitbit Care program please take a few minutes to move Fitbit to your Google account" Currently my unit syncs with my Medicare Advantage plan and I really don't want to lose that but don't really want to change my login? What's up?
