I can't add friends when I try using their user name or email I get an error message

Please confirm that you have a compatible operating system, which for Android is 7.0 or higher. In order to provide you with the appropriate troubleshooting, let me know the error message you're getting, if you have a screenshot, attach it to your next reply.
