Can't get notifications from Huawei P30 Pro

Hi everyon . 

My Versa says it has synced but won't receive messages from my phone and for the life of me I can't work out why . I have reset everything , started again, turned everything off and on and still nothing. HELP

Hi @Mel075. Welcome on board!

 

Thanks for troubleshooting your Versa on your own and I'm sorry that the notifications are still not working. I've confirmed that your Huawei P30 Pro phone is a compatible device, so let's work on this together. First of all, may I know if you're able to receive other type of notifications, such as calls or apps? What's the name of the messaging app you're using to receive your text messages?

 

Although you've tried some steps, please give a try to the following in the given order:

  1. Remove the Versa and any other device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby. This is just for this process.
  3. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear cache.
  4. Go back one screen, tap on force stop and reboot your phone.
  5. On your Versa, swipe down and tap the quick settings icon. Make sure the Do Not Disturb (little circle icon) as well the Sleep Mode (moon icon) are turned off.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and set up the notifications one more time.
