I'm also having the issue. Watch was not syncing today and tried everything to get it back. Eventually unpaired and reinstalled everything and now I can't even sign in to the app to set the watch up from scratch. Does not matter the network I'm on..

Same, mine started today too. Must be a server side issue considering the amount of replies to this thread today! Hopefully it gets back up soon, and also dont worry, most fitbit watches store data for 7 days before needing to sync

Fitbit wasnt syncing. Been trying for the last 4 hours to log back into my fitbit through Google. I've done everything and nothing works. Keep getting a message that says something went wrong try again. This is beyond frustrating.

There's a big FitBit outage going on at the moment, see: https://www.fitbitstatus.com/

Testing multiple devices wifi/cell data was not connecting reinstalled the app on my pixel 7 Pro and get th something went wrong message on all devices I can find. Phone / old phone/ tablet. This is a server issue on Googles end. Please let your clients know it is not something they can fix by uninstalling or changing WiFi.
I wasted an hour that I was ment to be working out trying to fix a known issue!! Fitbit has posted on social that it's a know issue they are working on and you are telling people to uninstall and change wifi like it's something wrong with there devices. Send an email out to your clients NOW! Post an update on twitter/Facebook every hour! I have managed tech support for major tech companies for the last 25 years and this communication from Fitbit/google is shocking!!!

This is the second time the app has gone out on me since Google took over and made everyone register with GMail.

Wifi or no wifi didn't work, can't connect my inspire 3 to my phone because it says I need an app. I have the app! Google login says "OOPS something went wrong try again!" Nothing works. I've had this 2 weeks. Bad look so far

I'm getting the sane thing. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and getting that same error message. Communication would be nice.

The same with pixel 6 pro

Also having this issue , turning off wifi does nothing pixel 7 pro however if I sign in using my ALTERNATIVE Google account which ISNT the one that I use with Fitbit and the one I NEED to use because it has all my data on it.
It works
This appears to be an issue with the default Google account that you signed up with on fitbit.
Fitbit was once a great company/app/fitness tracker.
Google bought them and not they are garbage.

Update: Finally showing the workout that was missing, shows how many calories I've burned. It still only shows calories consumed at or before lunch however, even though it let me enter what I had for dinner.

Same. My Fitbit Sense 2 wouldn't sync so I logged out and now I can't log back in using my Gmail account. Says oops something went wrong please try again. I've tried reinstalling the app. No luck.

Same here. I was on with Google one support and we tried everything. Now I see here the issue is not Google but Fitbit. Would be nice if they sent out a notice rather than having to search for the issue! FR

I see there is a problem, but what is it that is causing my watch to not sync with my phone?

Wish I had known it was a system wide thing before I spent hours trying out all the useless troubleshooting tips. Had this thing all of two days.

I had a problem adding a credit/debit card to my Fitbit Wallet this morning. Fitbit/Google said it was the bank, the bank said it was Fitbit. The card had worked before.
I got something like 20 charges of $0.00 from Google this morning, so seems the bank was right. This malfunction is probably why I couldn't add the card back to it.
