Can't manually add activity without entering distance

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The app will not allow manual entry of run/treadmill/walk/hike/bike/spinning without adding a distance.

So if I go and do a 30 minute spin on my bike which is attached to a stationary trainer with no smart features (ie will not calculate distance) it is not at all possible to log it to Fitbit unless I arbitrarily make up a non-zero distance.

@Drifloon A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry to hear about your difficulties logging your activities. Make sure that your app is up to date then log out from it, restart your phone and log back in. If you are using an Android device go to settings > apps > Fitbit and clear the apps cache. Finally you can try logging this activity via the website.

Let me know how it goes!

Worth a try, but it still doesn't work. I believe this is an issue with how the app is coded for specific activities.
