A few weeks ago I started having a lot of trouble syncing with my Google Pixel. I would have to try 10, 20, 30 or more times telling my charge HR to sync before it would sync, even with all day sync and always connected turned on. Then even that stopped working, and it would sync my steps, but none of my exercise or heart rate or sleep, etc. It also wouldn't sync my steps to my group challenges, only to my phone. Now it's not syncing anything at all. The only way I get get it to sync is to uninstall the app and reinstall it. Then it will sync once and never again. I've been through all the troubleshooting steps, turning bluetooth on and off, resetting my fitbit, etc. Is this an issue with Android Oreo? I know google phones got the newest version recently and maybe it hasn't rolled out to other android phones yet. My friend with a Nexus is having similar syncing issues too.

I have the same problem. Does anyone know what is going on?

My ChargeHR stopped syncing on Oct28 and it's like my Bluetooth can't recognise the device at all. I've tried reinstalling the app. Resetting my phone. Was there an app upgrade on the phone or Fitbit device that prevents this? I would like to try reinstalling the Fitbit to my phone but because Bluetooth doesn't recognise any devices available for pairing the flow setup doesn't work? Any ideas?

I have the Google pixel 2 and I'm having the same issues. I can't get my alta hr to sync at all. Tried setting it up again and it can't find the device. What's up? It worked fine on my old crappy Samsung. Probably the new Android OS as you mentioned. But still what am I supposed to do now? My alta hr is now just a fancy watch.

I contacted fitbit support via twitter (why don't they have chat or e-mail support anymore? They definitely used to) and they recommended I reinstall the fitbit as a replacement device.

This sort of worked. I was able to immediately sync. But always connected and all day sync still don't work, I have to force the fitbit to sync anytime I want it to update, and it usually takes a dozen or so tries to get to to properly sync. I frequently get the message "your sync has been scheduled and will start soon" and the progress bar fills up, but it doesn't sync. It's been about two weeks the ability to sync has gotten progressively worse. I have to go through the full suite of troubleshooting steps every few days. This is a top of the line phone with the most recent OS, it's frustrating that fitbit can't provide support for it, when it worked fine with my 4 year old Sony. I'm thinking of just switching to a different kind of tracker, one with better integration for calls/texts. Time to do some research.

I am having the same problem and it seems to have started with the update to Android 8. My tracker only seems to sync now when I use my iPad.

Try going into the app settings on your phone, fitbit app, storage - clear cache. Then try re-syncing. I'd been having problems since Friday, just did that and took it a while to re-sync but everything is working great now.

Same problem. Last sync of 28th of Oct. Pixel forums not much help (for the first time ever). Tried clearing the cache and it did diddly squat

I have since cleared the app cache, uninstalled the app, removed the Blaze tracker my my account, reinstalled the app, and re-added the tracker. It syncs "occassionally" now. Sometimes it will be successful in the middle of the day. Sometimes not. Today it hadn't synced since last night. I just turned bluetooth off and then it worked but only on the 4th forced attempt. Ridiculous.

I was eventually put in touch with fitbit support regarding this issue and it was entirely unhelpful (note, I don't blame the support tech, they did exactly what they were allowed to do.) I was instructed to go through all the troubleshooting steps that I'd already gone though, which I did again. When that didn't fix the problem I was given a 25% off coupon and told to buy a new fitbit...
Uh, no. I'm not going to buy another one of your products when my current one won't sync and you don't seem to be doing anything about it. I specifically asked if there were any known issues that might impact phones running newer versions of android and received no response.

Mine is 2 at Christmas (charge he) so definitely not under warranty. This is so crap. It's across multiple styles so obviously there's a collective issue

Have found that I have better luck syncing through my fitness Pal which is then linked to my Fitbit app.
A bit of a mess around, but I've managed to (in the last hour) get the last few days of tracking on both apps. Let's see how long it lasts for though.
I think it's time to look into a Garmin

I have the same issue now with my One plus 5T after the oreo update, I did what you did, unpair, re-sync, only synced once after the pairing, after that it did not work

Mine will sync with app a couple times if I reset the tracker. It won't after that. It always worked on my pixel 2 until a few days ago.
