Cannot log activity

I have read several previous posts, as well as articles. I still haven't found the help that I needed. I am an android user and cannot find the place to log activity. There is no "+" near anything that has to do with my activity. My app is up to date, from what I can tell. Help?!

It would help to know which model Fitbit you have, but

see How do I manually log exercises in the Fitbit app?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I have a charge 2, which I need to replace. I did not think that this would make a difference, as my issue is with the app. I did finally find the spot to log activity on the website, so I temporarily solved my problem, however I should be able to just do this in the app.

Did you look at the link I gave above?  It does show how to do it in the apps on Android, iPhone, Windows 10 app.

My point about the device was going to be that whenever possible, if you have a tracker that allows it, it is better to use the exercise app to record the workout as it happens, rather than manually log it afterward.

As I stated in my original post, I had already viewed possible articles. I tried searching for answers before posting. I will likely contact customer service, as the articles are no help. I do not see a "+" anywhere near any of my activity log, only for food and water. There are some times in which a tracker cannot be worn, and this was one of those times.

I do thank you for your feedback and trying to help.

I have tried to illustrate the steps below, but feel free to contact Help instead if you so choose.

  • Android phones
    1. Tap the Today tab

      .
    2. On the Exercise tile

, tap the + icon > Log Previous
    3. Tap a recent activity, or search for an exercise type.
    4. Enter the activity details, and tap Log It.
