Hi
My Cardio Fitness score is still only a range estimate, even after running multiple 20+ GPS tracked activities. It was an exact score previously, but then I changed by heart rate zones from default, then changed them back to default and my weight also. Ever since this the score has only been a range estimate, even though I've ran 20+ GPS tracked activities since then, any idea how to get it to show an exact score?

Hi @Gr4ndp4 thanks, I saw that page before, says `You may need to go on several runs that are at least 10 minutes in length to affect your score.` I've done at least twenty GPS tracked runs since I changed my weight and heart zones, still only giving me an estimate.

I do get an exact score from running with GPS. I've never changed the settings though. Do your runs include a long section of mostly flat? I think I read that's another condition for the calculation to happen.
I'd be thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling the app if I had this problem. Maybe it will reset whatever has gone wrong. Hopefully it's not something attached to your account in the cloud and it gets downloaded again.

Yea it's mostly flat, no major gradients or anything. I tried reinstalling the App and still the same, must be something in my Cloud Account.

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? Mine used to show an exact score, but now only shows a range. I’m not sure if it’s because I have a Charge 5 now (I used to have an ionic before the recall).

I've only ever seen the estimate when looking at cardio fitness via the heart rate tile on the app. I've never done anything to change my heart zones from the ranges as calculated by Fitbit.
If you dig a little further in the heart rate info/tile, however, it DOES give you an actual computed value....
In 'Heart Rate', select 'Cardio Fitness'
Expand that out - using the diagonal arrows below the ? at the top right of the screen
You'll then see a specific value....
My Cardio Fitness is showing in the 47 - 51 estimated range, when I expand it out, I'm presented with an actual value of 49.4
But, the caveat on the first page of cardio fitness information does state: 'Your score is based on your resting heart rate and user profile. Our estimate will become more precise with additional heart rate data' - note I've italicised 'estimate' because none of the fitness tracker manufacturers can make any actual claims that their devices could be classed as being clinically accurate medical devices.... The various approved algorithms that they use are, of course, verified as being fit for informational purpose by medical regulatory bodies
