Challenges

I was wondering how long you have to be able to join a challenge you were invited to. For example, a challenge was created on Sunday that I was invited to, will I be able to join the challenge on say, Wednesday night? This may sound silly but I always join the same challenge and I usually win by a lot. So on last week's challenge, I commented saying that everyone will have a fair chance next week because I will not join. However, I thought it would be funny to rack up a ton of steps and wait until Wednesday night to join. Let everyone think they are safe and don't have to worry about me getting a ton more steps than they do, then, surprise!!! Here I am!!! I plan on quitting the challenge the next day, just want to join for a little bit as a joke. So can I still join that late into the challenge, on Wednesday night?

Thank you for posting that link. I couldn't find it myself. That is correct, after 24 hours, your invitation expires. I checked to see if it was still waiting for me and it wasn't there anymore.

Hey my friend @jamrow38, welcome to the Community Woman Very HappyBelow are possible reasons for this issue:

1. Your steps have fully synced to our database but you're not viewing the mobile app dashboard in Live Data Mode. (Live data mode would show the word "connected" under your tracker tile).
2. You manually logged an activity. Steps from manually logged activities do not count toward challenges; only steps recorded by your tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
3. You used MobileRun to track GPS data with your app. Only steps recorded by a tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
4. All challenge participants are not in the same time zone.

I also recommend waiting 15 minutes after syncing your Fitbit data to see if your challenge updates.

Hope that helps!
