Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Robin7.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern about changing your calorie deficit number. I am glad to help. A calorie deficit is when you burn more calories than you consume in a day. When you set a weight-loss goal in the Fitbit app, your daily calorie deficit target is determined by the level of intensity you choose for your food plan. You can adjust your food plan and calorie deficit by doing the following:

Thanks, but there is no Under Goals, tap Nutrition & Body. Tap Food Plan > Edit Plan. How do I add this?

Hi @Robin7, thank you for your reply.
I appreciate the additional details. If you can't find "Nutrition & Body" after tapping on your profile picture in the Fitbit app on your phone, please provide a screenshot of what you see. You can follow these steps to attach a screenshot to your next reply: How To: Add An Image To Your Post. I will be glad to investigate further.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

I am having the same issue, but when I try to insert a screen shot, it doesn't give me the option to do so. I click on the camera and it comes up with some box that asks for "Source" "Dimensions" etc. The link you supply above does not apply to this pop up box. Then, i tried to drag it into here, and it says i do not have permission to upload images.

Nevermind! I just realized you said to do it on my phone. Done!
