When using the mobile app on my android device to add something I have eaten, I usually use my recent or favourite food items. However, when I try to change the serving size and scroll to save, the serving I have inputted is replaced with the original serving size. It's really annoying and happens frequently (although not 100% of the time).

I went back and found the thread that I originally posted about this same issue. As you can see we aren't the only ones having the problem and it doesn't matter what version of the app you are using. The thread starts back in January 2018.

@Gray1975 Welcome! It's great to see you around. Sorry to hear about your issue logging food on the Fitbit app for Android. Since when did you notice this happening? Was it from the last time you updated the app or before that? Make sure the app is up to date then log out from it, restart your phone and log back in. You can also try cleaning the apps cache by going to settings > apps > Fitbit.
I also moved your post to the correct board.
Let me know how it goes!

@AlvaroFitbit, I know what @Gray1975 is describing. It's been happening to me for about 8 months now regardless of the app version or clearing data and cache.
This is something that happens to me on a daily basis:
I log a 15oz cup of coffee in the morning for breakfast. After being at work for a while I generally have 2 more 10oz cups. When I bring up coffee from my favorites it shows the last entry of 15oz. I change it to 20oz so I can log it but it reverts back to 15oz before I can save it. It will make me do this at least 3 or 4 times till it allows me to make the entry. Note: the coffee is just an example, it does it with any favorite item.
Sometimes if I bring up the favorite item then wait about 15 or 20 seconds it will allow me to make the entry on the first try. It's like there is major lag from the server side and the app is getting overwritten till it catches up. It also doesn't matter if I'm on a slow or super fast network, same issue either way.

Hey Sal, you have described it more clearly than I. This is exactly what happens and for a similar length of time. On the previous update the "glitch" seemed to have cleared but it has returned. Very frustrating when trying to input foods quickly.

Thanks Sal, I did try and search out a thread before posting but I suppose the number of variables for describing the issue is huge. Anyway, thanks for the input. Seems it's just going to be an ongoing issue.
