Why so hard to sync Fitbit devices each time Android updates to a new version.
I had a flex and each Android update had to wait until the next couple of release for the. To fix it.
Now I have a Charge 2 and is been almost 2 years I think that is broken. Software finds the device I enter the code and can't finish the connection.
I'm not buying more Fitbit because of that. Even a freaking $20 headset pairs better that fitbit device.
I have deleted, installed and given all permissions available and sync does not work. It makes me believe is on purpose to push you buy a new device and is not going to happen. Hate apple products but looks like I'm buying an apple watch.

@Jacpr I hope you're doing well!
Sorry to hear about this and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I suggest you refresh the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:
- Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
- Restart your phone and restart your device.
- Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
- Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
- You can find troubleshooting instructions here.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the information but been there done that. Im always stuck when
the PIN for the device is entered and then the app cannot communicate.
I even try to use the windows application with the same results. Funny
thing is that works with older versions of Android the last time I tried.

I manage to fix the problem of adding a device using an old Android phone
that I had.
I added the device on my old phone and later noticed it was also added to
my Pixel 3.
Since then the device sync without the need of the old phone.
