Was one of things you tried a restart of your Charge 2 using this procedure?

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

If so, how many times did you try it? It's known to not always work and it's recommended to try it at least 3 times.

This worked for me, too - my Charge 2 stopped synching at the same time, and the reset fixed it.  But now I can't get it to synch more than once or twice per day.  Has something changed at Fitbit Central?

Same problem: no sync since 3/18.  Have tried everything in this post and uninstalled app etc.  Nothing works.

Usually one reset works but this  time I did it 3 times then uninstalled and installed the app and it still wouldn't sync.

After my Fitbit stop syncing I try the rest and now it works great.

My Charge 2 stopped syncing on Dec 18, 2018.  I've tried everything suggested in the troubleshooting guide. I've tried restarting the Charge 2 as suggested here 3 times.  I uninstalled and re-installed the app on my phone.  Not sure what else to try?

Thanks!

Have you tried rebooting your phone and Bluetooth connection? That works
for me most of the time, without having to restarting the Fitbit.

Thank you for replying, Laura! I powered off my phone, turned off and turned on my bluetooth... My phone sees my Charge 2 and is paired with it, but it still will not sync.  😞   I guess I'll call customer support and see what they say.  I literally have gone thru every step recommended in the troubleshooting guide...

My Charge 2 stopped syncing - it was not synching well for several days now - but now it has completely stopped. Tried everything here including rebooting several times, reinstalling app etc.

Are you saying restart the FitBit 3 times or try syncing three times? Because I turned Bluetooth off then back on, then restarted the FitBit and it still won't sync. I tried several times.

It worked fine for the last two years up until today. Nothing has changed on this end.

Hack47, when the Charge 2 is in the charging cradle, I used my fingernail to press the and hold the power button.
