Charge 2 won't show on APP or website - Galaxy S9

Hi everyone,

 

I received a Charge 2 as a gift and was able to pair it with my S9 fitbit app and it recognized it. For some reason, this has disappeared and now it won't recognize the Charge on the app or the website but it shows the information (such as the steps)????

 

I'm getting very frustrated. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, unpaired, repaired, reset, drank. Nothing.

 

Has anyone else had a similar problem? I've even plugged my fitbit into the computer and it doesn't pop up there.

I will gladly assist you with your Charge 2 not showing on your account. I suggest you try setting it up again. Start by going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. You can find additional suggestions here.

I have tried all these steps... multiple times. I've even cleared the partition cache on my phone in hopes that it might do something. Still nothing.

 

The app has all permissions.

 

The fact that it wouldn't work on two separate systems (IOS and Android) leads me to believe it's the Charge 2 HR and not my phones.
