Charge 3 won't pair or sync to Samsung Note 5 since "firmware update" notification

I haven't had any issues syncing my Charge 3 (I have had it since December) to my Note5 until the past couple days. I saw that there was a firmware update on the Fitbit app when I logged in 5/4/19 so I clicked on it and nothing happened. Then I noticed that my Charge 3 hadn't been updating any of my information for the past couple of days. I tried "unpairing" it from my Bluetooth connections and reconnecting, nothing. I uninstalled the Fitbit app and downloaded it again, nothing. I cleared the data and cache from the Fitbit app on my phone's settings, nothing. I turned off and turned back on both my phone and the Charge 3, nothing. I "force stopped" the Fitbit app from my Application manager, nothing. I deleted my tracker from the app and tried to readd it and I have only gotten to enter the 4 digit PIN but as soon as it is entered, I get the message "Sorry, the setup is taking longer than usual. Please be patient. We're on it!" but it will stay on that screen with that message for hours and nothing will update or connect.

 

Super frustrated!!! Please help!!!
