Charge 6 inconsistent sleep scoring

Can't believe they're pushing us to get their overpriced sub when they can't even get their sleep tracking to work properly.

I've done the reset the reinstallation. I even wore the tracker higher up and made it snug and still it's the third day in a row it didn't give me a sleep score.

It only scores me on some days and I've contacted their chat person twice and both acted like they didn't know what's going on. Clearly it's a problem and multiple people on this forum experienced the same thing.

It's almost useless to get this I don't see how this device should stay on my wrist most of the time. It didnt even alert me of a high heart rate over the set limit for notification.

Hi, @Bungalaix welcome to the community, you may find this article of interest How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? I find that when waking in the morning it is necessary to sync the Fitbit app twice by sliding my finger down the screen & releasing it.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers

Having similar issues. Some days it tracks everything perfectly, others it says I got 1 hour other days 3 hours. It's very inconsistent and random as hell when it decides to work properly.

Hi, @MrGreen315, welcome, if you are a restless sleeper your movement will interrupt the record keeping (see my link above) If you are able to have a friend or family member wear your device while sleeping you will almost certainly see a different result.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

Appreciate this but I've already been through that. It worked for about a day and then went back to being inconsistent again. Unless I edit it manually, but then what is the point of the watch of I have to edit it manually and I still won't get the data for my sleep. So while this is useful information it doesn't actually fix the problem itself. My previous Fitbit from a few years ago never had this issue at all.

Hi, @MrGreen315 Thanks for your update, previous Fitbit devices used different LED/sensor arrays and algorithms, and the present generation is in my opinion, much improved.

I can only recommend you review the earlier link and try to determine if your circumstances affect these results.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

The sleep tracker has a huge bug. The hours I don't wear are counted as sleeping hours. It is annoying.
