Charge 6 won't download ECG PDF

Fitbit charge 6 won't download ecg pdf. I tried deleting app cache. Reinstalling Fitbit app.turnimg blue tooth off and on. Hard restart of phone and watch. It shows the pdf ready to download but when I try it just gets stuck. I have a Motorola phone with Android 12. It was previously working with a charge 5 that died. I also made sure all the permissions are on.

This is what worked for me. 

ECG report download fix: Open fitbit app, to the left of the Google profile icon at top right of the screen is a notification rectangle, tap that and tap notifications on top right, after tapping this the push notifications started showing up normally when trying to download ECG reports. 

If this doesn't work for you... Have you tried going to your phone/device settings, apps, locating Fitbit, force stop, tap on storage, clear cache, uninstall Fitbit, reboot phone/device, enter Play Store, reinstall Fitbit model, choose gallery, at the top choose apps, locate ecg, uninstall it,

And/or.. within Fitbit app click the upper left hand corner where your devices are, choose your Fitbit model, tap on gallery, choose apps on the top right , tap ECG, uninstall, go to your phone/device settings, apps, locate Fitbit, force stop, tap on storage, clear cache, reboot phone, go back into the Fitbit app and locate gallery again and reinstall the ECG app within Fitbit. Then click on permissions within the ECG app and double check that all options are turned on. I turned all the permissions off and then turn them all back on again just to double-check that they were on.

Thanks for sharing that you're able to see your ECG pdfs.

The ECG pdf downloads shouldn't hang up like you've been seeing, though. I'm still escalating this to the team and will report back when I get any updates.

No cigar for me. My phone is a Moto G5 on Android 11 and I've tried everything thus far.

Nothing is working for me either.  Charge 6 Motorola G Stylus, latest update and downloading PDFs just hangs up when they used to work quickly.

OK so now it seems only those of us with Motorola devices who have chimed in on this thread have no working solutions to this bug. This makes it even less likely Fitbit will fix the issue unless they emulate Motorola phones on their development platforms 😩

Thanks for confirming that this seems to be an issue with Motorola phones and Android OS 11 & 12. Another user, @motrguy , who has a Motorola phone and Android 11, has the same issue.

@Techgranny1950, which Android version do you have on your phone?

I'm going to pass on this information and will let you know if I get any updates.

I have Android 11 also. This feature worked until at least September 21st
which was the last time I had tried to download a PDF before a couple of
days ago.

I am having the same problem with downloading ecg pdf for past week or 2😕.  Hopefully the update will correct this annoying problem!

Do you also have a Motorola phone on Android 11 or 12? So far, this seems to be the common factor for this issue.

Thank you so much for providing the information about your phones & Android OS. I got confirmation that the team is looking into the issue for Motorola phone users running Android 11 or 12. This is great news since it means that we were able to officially get this into the system as a bug report.

This is what I volunteered to do as a Product Expert - help out other users. I'm glad that I was able to bring this up to the team's attention and that they are looking into getting this fixed.

Hello, I have Realme X2, running Android 11 and I have the same problem, when trying to download it doesn't work.

And it's same for the wellness report.

I have the 4.28 Fitbit app version installed. I tried everything too, reinstall the app restart the phone, add all the rights... 

Hope this problem will be solved soon by the technical team. I also informed the support by chat.

Just in case it has to do with localisation, I'm in France.

I have 2 charge 5s and a charge 6 with Moto g(100) android 12 telephones.  Originally, the ecg download worked.  About a month ago, the download stopped working.

Hopefully. this post will put me on a mailing list to be notified when the problem is fixed.
