Hello @2kclrk and @KiwiPaul1 welcome to the Fitbit Community! My advise is to restart the tracker as advised by @AlejandraFitbit on this post after this attempt to set up the Charge HR as a new device you can find instructions here. If after this you are still experiencing issues with syncing your tracker you can troubleshoot as instructed on this post @Odyssey13 shared with us.
