Hi- I've been using the charge hr for a few years and 2 months ago upgraded my phone from a samsung S5 to S9. I realised after a day or 2 my new phone was not compatible and I stopped using my Fitbit. I would love to start using it again, and unfortunately as the S9 is still incompatible, I've found my old S5. I go through the steps to set up a device, tap in the 4 digit code, then it just says 'connecting'...forever. It was doing this a month ago and I just gave up and stopped wearing it. I've been through every step I can find on these forums - uninstalling/reinstalling, turning off fitbit etc. What do I do next??

Hi, @evie_sings! Have you tried using the S9? Even though it's not officially on the compatibility list (which I don't believe contains a single phone made in the last two years), a lot of people use it just fine. Maybe you could add your tracker from that phone.

Hi MakMak,
Yea, I tried again last night, following all of the trouble shooting I could find from these forums. When it didn't work, I dug out my old phone - the S5. Funnily enough, it's exactly the same issue on both phones, which is why I'm hoping I've overlooked something.
Really all I want at the moment is to set the right time on the fitbit so I can at least keep track of daily steps!

Hmm, that's definitely frustrating! I would suggest getting in touch with Fitbit Support directly using one of the live methods (either chat or phone call), so that maybe they could go through some troubleshooting with you and maybe get you up and running again.
