Just updated android on my Samsung 7 edge to android 8 (oreo) and now the phone and fitbit will not sync. Tried uninstalling app and re installing still wont connect. Tried adding as new device and when i press the button to get the diamond it just starts stopwatch. Tried connecting to charging lead and pressing button until comes up with v128 then unplugging and still wont work. Very difficult to do that as lead is poor connection which is down to rank design. Help please before i lose the data for today.

Hello @Sunter18.
Thanks for bringing this up and sharing everything that you have tried. It is possible that the Bluetooth connection was corrupted in some way during the update. I'd say that we try to remove your Fitbit from your phone's Bluetooth and then run the setup again. That should help get it back in shape.
Please let me know how it goes or if you have any questions.

Hello @Sunter18.
Thanks for letting me know that everything is working correctly now. Maybe it was some sort of bug.
If you have the time, maybe you could visit one of our Discussion boards. Lots of topics to talk about and discuss with other Forum members!
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Welcome to the Forums @abdurrahmanz.
Thanks for sharing that information.
Did you try to follow the set up process as if you had a replacement? If not, please give it a try.
If you had already tried it, did you get some sort of error message? If so, what does it say?
Look forward to your reply.
