Charge won't sync to galaxy s5

My fitbit surge stopped syncing so I followed the instructions on the help site and turned it off (press the home and select buttons for 15 seconds, wait until the screen goes blank, wait 10 seconds then press the home button again). I've now just got the fitbit symbol  (the little dots) and it won't do anything. Any ideas?

Hello @Mick1968, good to see you here in our Fitbit Community. I suggest to try again the restart process in case your Surge is not responding. For additional steps on this subject take a look at the following post. If is not working the first time give it another try. It might be require  to try this several times.
