Hi @axej, welcome aboard to our Community. Just as @SunsetRunner said before. When your battery levels shows is empty is notifying that you need to re-charge the tracker, otherwise you may find difficulties to sync or in the worst of the scenarios loose your data.

Hello @axej if you are having issues syncing your Flex with your Android phone try restarting your Flex by:
1.Plug your charging cable into the USB port and insert your tracker into the charging cable.
2.Insert a paperclip into the small pinhole on the back of the charger.
3.Press on the pinhole for 3-4 seconds.
Then restart your phone and try to sync as usual. If you are still experiencing issues after this you can find some troubleshooting tips on this post.
