Seen it asked & answered but let's go Fitbit devs.

Let us Android users have the same basic functionality (re: the ability to edit their exercises) as those w/ an iPhone.

@OShaughnessy there is a suggestion here about adding the ability to edit workouts in the Android app. It has been labeled "under consideration" for years, but you could add your voice to the 3000+ others who have voted for it.

Hello @OShaughnessy

Maybe I’m misunderstanding your exact question but you are able to edit and or delete Fitbit activities on both the iOS and Android devices.. Look here to see how: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1306.htm
😃 Hopefully this helps. Please let me know

Android doesn't allow yo to edit the type of exercise, as described in the link, except for auto-recognized activities, and activities like "Workout". Further, if I edit the activity type (and say I make a mistake), there is no way to change it again. We really should be able to edit specific details (shorten end time, delete steps, rename, etc) of any activity.

Also, there is no ability to do thing like shorten an activity, or edit the end time, if you forget to stop a manually tracked activity. I get that we can't edit the number of steps or miles, etc. though it would be nice to be able to delete steps when fitbit incorrectly says you have some insane number of steps, rather than having to manually log a driving activity to obscure the steps.

@SunsetRunner Despite what the website says for Android users: "To delete the exercise, tap the trash icon. To edit the exercise, tap the pencil icon..."

There is no Pencil Icon for Android users.

We only have two options in the menu (classic three vertical dots) - 'Export TCX File' or 'Delete'. (*I have tried both the desktop & the mobile app)

I get there are real problems in the world to complain about but, for what we pay this should be an easy thing to get right.

😉 I was unaware @OShaughnessy because I use the iOS version. Thanks for letting me know the Fitbit Help page is incorrect. With that said the errors in the Fitbit Help Page really should be reported to the Fitbit Team and corrected to avoid confusion.

Androids being ignored for years?

Edit feature disabled unless I go iphone/apple

Finally, I've found out what wall I've been banging my head against.

I think I'll be looking at other watches now
