I could only find 3.39 and it refused to install. I have an additional email account configured which doesn't get much email, so I just set it to notify on that account instead of GMail.

Strange. I must admit this is just a guess in case Sense hasn't "got the message" for some reason, I would try a restart.

I did restart. Under notifications > email I turn it off but it keeps setting it back whenever it feels like it. No rhyme or reason.

I have a Charge 4 with latest firmware and a Pixel 4a 5G. All Android apps are fully updated and the phone and fitbit have both been restarted multiple times while working through this.
The problem is that on the Pixel phone, clicking Fitbit, Profile, Charge 4, Notifications, Emails, On/Off doesn't say set. I want to switch off email notifications (as I get a lot) but however I switch it off, the notifications switch on again a few minutes later.
I can change the toggle switch to have Emails notification to Off. I then click the left button at the top to show the Notifications screen. This shows Emails as 'Disabled'. I then click the top left button 3 times to go to the fitbit home screen.
I will inevitably get a vibration on my Charge 4 a few mins later and when I go back to Fitbit, Profile, Charge 4, Notifications, Emails, it shows the notification as being 'On'.
This behaviour started a few days ago and did not occur before. How do I get email notifications to stay off?

Hello @Bogr. Welcome to the community forums!
Thank you for the information and I'd like to let you know that you can also try to turn off notifications from the Fitbit App. For this, please follow the steps below:
1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app on your phone, tap your profile picture > Charge 3 tile > Notifications.
2. Turn off the notifications you no longer want to receive on your tracker.
3. Sync your tracker to save your changes.
Or if you want to turn off all notifications:
1. Press and hold the button on your tracker and swipe left to reach the quick settings screen.
2. Tap DND to turn on do not disturb. The DND icon dims to indicate that all notifications, including goal celebrations and reminders to move, are turned off.
Hope this helps.

I had to uninstall 3.41 before installing the old version (I got a downgrade error).

I am having this same problem, I have uninstalled the app, re-installed the app, can't find anywhere to go back to a previous version, and restarted the watch.

Hi Alejandra,
I am getting this issue too. I have restarted my FitBit Charge 4 numerous times, disabled email notifications under Profile Pic > Charge 4 > Notifications and I am STILL getting emails to my tracker when that is literally the only thing I do not want received on my tracker.
It is not possible to disable emails notifications completely from my phone because I need them for my work.
Regards,
Andrea

Hi.
After further testing, I have found this to be an app issue. Please notify your App Development team and notify them of this bug. Even when I select "Turn of ALL notifications" then sync my device, JUST the Email notifications STILL get turned on despite my wishes. Please fix. Thank you.
Regards,
Andrea

Same problem here. I noticed that this problem started today, probably after a app update. I cleaned up the app cache, reinstalled it, but no changes. It is very annoying.

I am having the same issue. I disable the email notifications and then once my Fitbit syncs it enables them again.

I just came here to find out how to resolve this issue also. It definitely is related to the update. Ugh

I am also having this issue with my charge 3. As soon as i disable the email notifications and back out of the notifications it automatically turns back on before i can even sync the watch. I do not want to turn the DND on on my watch because i need my texts and calls to come in.

Hi there,
I've been trying to turn off email notifications on my wrist but keep text messages and phone calls. Here's what I've tried:
Going into the app, I open my Account page by clicking my picture in the upper left.
I open Inspire HR.
Under General, I open Notifications.
Calls and text messages are enabled, Calendar Events are disabled (which is good), but my Emails are enabled, and every time I disable it from here, it automatically enables as soon as I leave this screen.
I have:
- Restarted my phone
- Force quit and restarted the app
- Rebooted the device
- Disabled all and enabled only the notifications I want
NOTHING has helped. I'm at my wits' end.
