Email notifications won't turn off

I keep on turning off email notications and it keeps turning back

Ahhh! So, although 3.39.2 is latest visible in the Play Store, I actually
had 3.41 installed. Have uninstalled, then installed 3.39.2 from the Play
Store and issue appears to be fixed.

You will find that you have 3.41 installed and 3.39.2 available in the Play Store but can't downgrade. If you uninstall the installed version, then install 3.39.2 from the Play store, the email notification feature will work correctly. You will need to log back in to the Fitbit app and re-enable permissions but that only takes a few seconds.

I did this about 7 hours ago ago and all is good again, here!

For people asking for an update - there isn't specifically an update. They downgraded the last update to the previous version - so you need to Uninstaller your current fitbit app - then go to your app store & reinstall - it will then install the previous version that was working.

Email notifications flooding my fitbit. I have turned all notifications off from the app and synced it. This new update resulted this issue for Android users. Fix it asap please.

I am awake since 4am as my email notifications started coming in on my watch while I have snail notifications turned off AND my phone is set to Do Not Disturb. I won't be able to wear this watch to track sleep.

The best answer isn't giving any instructions how to turn off email notifications.  My emails now come through at night when my Samsung 9 is set to Do Not Disturb. Been awake since 4am when all the unimportant scheduled marketing emails start rolling in. Makes my Versa 3 is a poor option for helping me sleep better 😴 Annoyed. Worse was to find this thread and realize it's a known issue. All I want on my watch are phone calls and meeting reminders.  No email at all.  My email notifications are turned off and still.... vibrates all day long and does not adhere to DND. Please share the fix for this known issue. It's painful.

Uninstall and then re-install the app. That is what fixed the problem for

I am about ready to ask for a refund. I can't turn off these email notifications and it is driving me crazy...99% of them are ads and I did not buy a step tracker to receive endless ads, and like others have said, they drain our batteries. Please get this fixed asap or I am retuning my brand new Fitbit4. 😞

I was finally able to turn off email notifications last night thank goodness! I had an update and afterwarda I turn Fitbit off and back on, went in to the app, switched off email, got out of app, turned Fitbit off and on again and have not had anymore email notifications.
