It's broken on both iOs and Android and has been for weeks.
It would be amazing if someone from the actual support side could let us know:
a) what the problem is
b) why the problem started
c) when the problem's going to be fixed
Rather than the usual "we're working on it, stay tuned for updates, also make sure your app's updated!" non-updates we normally get from Fitbit.

This has been driving me nuts as well for weeks.

This is a significant production breaking bug and you're just sitting around without updating the community.
I created a forum account just to rant about this because it's so annoying.
Get this escalated and fix it!

Still broken - Google Pixel 9. I have been trying for a month and have read all of the "tricks" and done all of the tricks. This is a straight up Google problem.
Yes, I have gone all the way of clearing the data, removing the app, restarting the phone, reinstalling the app, and walla .. still an issue.
@MarioSFitbit Are there any updates on this? It's been a while. Also, why isn't this downtime document on the Status Dashboard (https://status.fitbit.com)? It's been broken for weeks now!
What someone suggested in the iOS chain on this same problem: "One word of advice, stop troubleshooting following the 'recommended' steps, you will only mess up your phone and app settings for nothing." I rather agree. It's a terrible hassle and you lose settings you probably don't even remember anymore how to redo.
Update from @MarioSFitbit on the iOS board:
https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Changes-to-calorie-goals/m-p/5819143/highlight/true#M183765
Update didn't fix the issue, it's so odd how a network issue is dependent on the calories you burn in a day. Also, bring back the sedentary option, I don't like when it's around dinner time and my calories left for the day updates and suddenly it's like 150 calories less.
Is anyone else now seeing the calories out in the chart aren't showing up but its still giving the calories out below the chart?
WHAT IS GOOGLE DOING TO THIS APP!?
It ain't broke...well it wasn't before they got their greedy hands on it.
