Now it suddenly started changing my weight. I looked this morning and thought, "Well that's not even close to what I weigh" (it says I'm about 5 lbs less than I am). Clicked on it and it says I manually added the weight at midnight of the past two days. I did not. It appears the glitch is growing.

Have been having this same issue for a week now. Fitbit is just getting more and more infuriating and I think I'll be moving on to a different brand for my next watch. It's time to bite the bullet, dealing with these sorts of bugs CONSTANTLY is getting too frustrating. Not to mention having to uninstall and reinstall the app every 2nd day because it's just blank..now I can't even adjust my food plan. I'm now also somehow stuck on a static plan instead of the dynamic one I had before trying to decrease cals from 250 to 500. How is Google dropping the ball so badly here?

Same message! Are they even working on this!!

I also noticed the calories left to eat are no longer dynamic as well. Static and not chaging based on activity.

So frustrating this still isn't fixed.

Also seems distance tracking is now no longer working. Went on my regular 1.2 mile run this morning and it registered as .4 miles. Went through all the usual install/uninstall steps, ran it again and same result.

At this point it kind of seems like Google is just letting this product die.

Bummer as someone who has used it for ages and had it work wonderfully until Google procured it.

Wish they would at least have the decency to say they are retiring the product/app instead of just leaving everyone frustrated and not knowing what's going on.

Hey everyone! Will this bug ever be fixed? 🙂

I've been using fitbit for a decade now and I've never known it NOT to have an ongoing bug/s. Steadily worse though in the past year. This issue is the worst yet. Have there been staff updates on other threads at all?  The lack of communication is very poor 🙄

Okay here's a question. What type of phone does everyone have? I personally have a galaxy S21. And it is getting to the point of needing to be connected to charger more than half the time. I'm beginning to wonder if this is yet another tactic of forcing us off old phones... just a theory if people can comment if their phone is old or new?

It's likely not phone related.  It appears to be a broken API contract between the app on the phone and what the server API is expecting.   Based on the silence for weeks I wouldn't hold my breath on it being fixed soon.

It appears to be fixed now on my pixel 10 pro xl 🙌🏼 definitely not a phone app issue since I've heard apple also affected. I hope this lasts....

Looks like the wrong day for calories is fixed for me but not the meal plan part. Is that also fixed for you?

I was not having the issue with the wrong day calories. I've only had the
meal plan issue, and it's also calculating calories too high.

I am getting the same error about the network down for maintenance. I discovered entirely by accident that my food plan was completely gone! I wondered why I wasn't meeting my goals or showing any calorie deficit for a few days now. I've been trying to get in for 2 days. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, restarted my phone, even tried accessing Fitbit through a different device and got the same error every time. I have had a Fitbit since 2015 and I'm irritated that this is a known issue it has not been announced on any of the Fitbit forums.

Honestly can't believe that nearly a month later everyone is still having the same problems. Good job I checked, my food plan has switched to gain 🙄 wondered why if was showing I was constantly undereating. Still can't change it though. Google tell your Fitbit users that you're doing away with the app etc and we'll gladly take our money elsewhere seeing as you can't even be bothered to sort problems out. Wouldn't be so bad if we could get online to sort it instead of waiting for a resolve on the crappy app that has a bug

@Emro23uk agreed!!

I deleted out my food plan earlier this week but have still been logging my food. Somehow my daily colorie goal (which has reverted back to stagnant) was at 935 this morning and throughout the day went down to 745.

Think Google is just trying to give me an eating disorder now lol

I've just sat and done a full factory reset. It's still doing exactly the same. I don't input calories, it's linked with my nutracheck app. Now that's a company that do help with any probs that's occurring. I just wish Fitbit/Google were as efficient and helped their customers. After 11 years of being a Fitbit user I've come to the conclusion that if a uninstall app and reinstall doesn't resolve the issue you're waiting absolutely ages for problems to be rectified. Think it's time to jump off the sinking ship and buy another smart watch from a different company.

Any updates on the any of the bugs?

I talked with Google today and they said this is a widespread known issue and there is no time frame for a fix but they are working on it.

They said the next update should fix it.

I explained that this was an important feature that most all users need.

One month later is there any additional update from the board moderators?

Thanks in advance
