Error - "Cant connect to Fitbit, please check your connection and try again"

The app on my Galaxy S8+ will says I have no friends or messages or notifications. I logged out, I uninstalled the app, restarted my phone, unsynced and nothing it says "Cant connect to fitbit, please check your connection and try again" I have done everything and it just doesnt work. Someone please help, thanks!!

Hello @Platz40, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! Certainly this is an odd behavior. Do you have location services On? If you need more information about this, take a look at this post: Android syncing - Permissions/Location.

 

If this is not the case, please let me know more details about the issue. Like are you trying to send invitation to your friends or are you trying to send messages when this error comes up? Feel free to share screenshots so I can have a closer look to the issue.

 

As an additional workaround try the steps from this post.
