Hi, I just noticed that the green and yellow lines have changed and now are all over the place on the graph. All graphs for different days start with a 0:00 hrs. The fluctuations are not at all in line with what I was reading up until today. Anyone experienced this issue?? Thanks

This has been my experience too. I looked at the Oxygenation Saturation chart under Health Metrics, which (I think) measures the same thing. That looked normal and consistent, so I concluded there is something wonky with the charting.
FitBit is one of the largest companies providing wearable fitness devices, yet they seem unable to produce a stable, consistent, and accurate app. Some of these problems users have been reporting for months if not years on the forums. That, to me, is a big problem.

Iv also noticed that since the latest update. There seems to be more high variations than before and have been wondering what's going on. Iv also check led the ones for last week, last week rarely showed high variations, mainly one, but looking back again after the update, there's loads. So wondering if they've change the values of low and high variations or something

@Diederik1969 @dazmlc It doesn't matter which device you use. It's an app bug.

Mines the same I panicked messaged my Daughter who is a Doctor. All yellow spikes say low oxygen

I've uploaded the image from my sleep report from last night which shows my Estimated Oxygen Variation - see My Twitter page I have had panics in my sleep and begged my GP to send me for a sleep study in London. The sleep study showed now problems with sleep other than a parasomnia.
Going by my new Fitbit Versa2 it looks like I have significant issues. Should I be taking this literally? I've checked that my watch isn't too tight and have left 1 finger space between my wrist. I did have to loosen it one notch as it was tight, tight.
Please can anyone advise?
Many thanks

I keep returning to my original request-- that of being able to turn OFF some of the tracking "features" of Fitbit (like we always have been able to do for HR detection from the moment the sensor was added to Fitbit devices). I think we are getting to the point that some of the monitoring causes more harm (psychologically) than good (physically). This whole sleep apnea "detection" has always been an unwanted feature as far as I'm concerned and not the purpose for my buying/using Fitbit. I like the physical activity tracking, HR monitoring/fitness score, and sleep stages/quality. But as for the O2 monitoring, I'd rather be able to turn that on occasionally (if I get covid, etc., or feel that I might be having sleep apnea problems that are affecting how I feel in the day) but aside from those occasions, I'd like to turn O2 tracking OFF. And I would especially like to have it turned OFF until Fitbit releases a fix to this current EOV graph.

The recent firmware update caused this problem. Fitbit should be sending a notice to all Charge 5 users ASAP. Not right to leave people hanging.

Thank God for this forum!!! I've had the same problem and was sure I needed to go to the ER for imminent cardiac arrest!!! I've been on the phone with the help desk and they are NO HELP whatsoever. Besides barely speaking intelligible english, a common barrier to effective communication, the help desk staff were reading from a script and not listening to a word of what I was saying. The first rep told me to reset the watch, and check again the next day.... Ok, some action there, albeit nothing changed.... The second rep said call my doctor, yes those are high readings, scared the c*** out of me... Rep three just kept rereading the script about what EOV measures represent, I already know that or I wouldn't be calling... Rep four just said we'll send you an email link and all that was was the explanation of what EOV does.... I was so frustrated AND scared.... Come on Google, you can do better.... At least alert your help desk team and users to the problem!!! This will be my last Fitbit....
PS - I am a heart attack survivor and this did me no favors...

They decided to do this update when I had covid. It was terrifying to see all the yellow!

I first saw this on Saturday and it really worried me. Checked Sunday morning and it seemed worse so I was debating whether to join the endless queue for a Dr appointment on Monday or go to hospital. Then I realised previously ok charts had changed and the penny dropped it was a tech issue.
Some people rely on this to monitor their breathing so it's very poor that fitbit hasn't acknowledged this to users. They have our email.
Customer services were awful and I was told to get to hospital and she wouldn't listen that I thought it was a tech issue. A second call was going the same way when the agent said they'd check. They came back to say they're aware of it and techs are looking into it.
I'm very disappointed and wondering if they're not bothered as iPhone isn't affected and iPhone has majority share in US.

While the EOV chart mess has gotten the most attention, it is not the only problem with this update. And while this particular problem hasn't affected the iOS (Apple) version of the Fitbit app, other problems have. For example on both platforms the app is now reporting very low readiness because "you haven't slept enough" while showing more than 8 hours of sleep for each of the last seven days.

thanks for the information. I also noticed a significant difference in the oxygen variations. It was surprising considering all the previous chart rarely were in the orange range. thanks for letting us know this is being looked at.

My Fitbit also changed overnight as well as my friends. I just had a wellness exam and also an all clear from my cardiologist. Now I'm just flabbergasted at this oxygen chart. I have restarted and it remains the same. Whatever changed hopefully your team fixes the problem before you scare the crap out of all users of your product!

I contacted versa by an online chat 01/08/22 and they said that they are aware of a problem and would issue more information shortly. What ever that means.
