Hi, I just noticed that the green and yellow lines have changed and now are all over the place on the graph. All graphs for different days start with a 0:00 hrs. The fluctuations are not at all in line with what I was reading up until today.  Anyone experienced this issue?? Thanks

Totally agree with you. And by the way, I have sleep apnea and when I
was diagnosed I only had a few spikes. I got tested because I was having
problems staying asleep and getting little sleep. So the oxygen variation
did work before this goof up.

I have apnea as well and used to sleep with my cpap, but since I started sleeping on my adjustable mattress, my oxygen variation graph was improving. Until that new update. Now the lines are all over the place and it's worrying me 🤔Sent from my Galaxy

Amen to that. And where is Fitbit's response? Fitbit??? Hello, Fitbit??
What is ur ETA to fix sleep tracking to before-last-update WHEN IT
WORKED?? Do we all need to leave? i am researching now for alternatives
THAT WORK w/which I can reliably track sleep, oxygenation Sp02.. (as well
as other exercise stats).. this is beyond the pale... do you not care about
ur customer base? If nothing else - tell as how to roll back to previous
version where ur software worked!!! Feedback and fix timeline ... "FIXED in
previous version" (a bad programming joke) .. if nothing else, either roll
back ur software update to before-functionaity or tell us how to do that!

This is very concerning for those of you with sleep disorders - Now you don't know what to think -

I have a sleep number bed and have the head up a bit but because of my allergies.  I use a cpap machine, when my allergies are not really bad.

Okay, but what does this have to do with a Fitbit watch?
Best Answer

The sleep apnea having to do with a fitbit?   The watch tells when your breathing is out of whack.  That is why so many people are anxious about them maybe having sleep apnea with the way the yellow or orange that shows.

The most irritating thing is that all of my previous sleep graphs have now changed to make it look like I have had possible severe sleep apnea the last year. Before the change they showed either little or no variation into the high zone. Which is correct? I'd like to think the old graphs were. My sleep study correlates with the old graphs before this new update. I'll just ignore the new ones until Fitbit fixes their mistakes or I trash my Fitbit and get a different brand.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

I have the same issue.

Sorry, your post only talked about your bed and allergies. Nothing mentioned about Fitbit.

Totally agree with everything you said. I had normal graphs for years, then one day, lines all over the place. Checked back on previous graphs, which were normal,  and they had been changed. Which is correct???

Looking into a Galaxy 4, since I have a Samsung Galaxy s21 phone. I'm hearing the problem exists with android phones.

I am also looking into a Samsung watch. I have fitbit on my mobile, PC and
the dashboard online and the lines are all buggered up. So it cannot be
just Samsung.

Read the stream of messages ... which are NOT about sleep apnea - but the Fitbit Android last software update that has wrecked our sleep tracking charts of oxygenation (Sp02) and related charts tracking sleep so that our historic and current data to which we had become accustomed to use and rely upon for feedback NO LONGER WORK and Fitbit seems to NOT CARE as they are NOT updating customers with and ETA for a fix, or ability to roll back from current update to resolve THESE PROBLEMS - which if NOT fixed will leave us little option than to go elsewhere. Sigh...

I am also researching the galaxy Smartwatch 4 as well as others to replace the Fitbit which since GOOGLE bought them, don't seem to have the same level of support and care.  Arghhhh.

Very true. I agree completely

Yes, I am experiencing the same thing. Previously, I only had high variations once in a great while. Recently the interface changed with that chart and now it shows me as having high variations all throughout the night every night. It even changed all of my previous charts that were low variation to now show high variation. It was quite a stark difference and quite unsettling.

Yes - not the same service since Google bought Fitbit

Best Answer

Yes, I'm 83 and I was wondering the same thing. I'm not very happy with how that looks. Let's get it back to natural the way it used to look and quickly

As a programmer my head would roll if something wasn't tested properly first.   That and making changes that really didn't make a difference worth the effort.   What was so wrong that an update was done that broke it?   Sorry, but there needs to be a way for a customer to switch back to an older version too until the issue is resolved.  Then a serious review of why this one failed.
