Estimated Oxygen Variation graph is broken

Hi, I just noticed that the green and yellow lines have changed and now are all over the place on the graph. All graphs for different days start with a 0:00 hrs. The fluctuations are not at all in line with what I was reading up until today.  Anyone experienced this issue?? Thanks

Same issue for me. Until recently I rarely had any "high" oxygen fluctuations, and now it's consistently high across the board, including all of my previous sleep history.

Just a reminder to anyone else having this issue, it's a good idea to include as much information about your devices as possible so that the FitBit devs have something to work with.

I'm using a Charge 5, firmware version 57.20001.149.11

The app is version 3.64 (36419051), running on a Galaxy S10e with Android 12

I see that there's a firmware update available for my device. I'm going to update it and will report back if anything changes!

@Anamia that is happening to a lot of us right now and it will be corrected soon. There's a discussion about it here and you may want to watch that thread for updates.

Same here, it's like they changed the calculation behind the graph and not told us.

I spoke to "support" and was told they're aware of the issue and working on
it. I suggest we all call and encourage them! Right?!

This is so annoying, and really irresponsible. If Fitbit knew about this issue over a week ago, why wasn't the update roll out postponed?? My app updated only today, and like so many others I've spent time considering my mortality before searching and getting here. How many other people are feeling panicked now, or needlessly booking doctor appointments? You have all our contact details, why not email at least? Very annoyed and disappointed.

At the bottom of their website is "contact us" with a phone number.

How about Fitbit send out an email letting people know when there is a problem. I just wasted my time thinking it was my fitbit, as my husband's didn't have this problem. After finding nothing wrong, then I come to the Community page to find out that you were aware of the problem...really? You send out emails about other items but not a problem??

Let's get this thing fixed! The first time I saw my chart with all the out-of-range lines, I almost called my pulmonologist to ask if I should call the paramedics or go to the ER!

I agree, the first time I saw it it scared me too! Thankfully I logged in from a device that wasn't updated and it looked normal.

Me too 😂, thought I needed to go to emerge!

Thanks for the input... I called Fitbit about the "new" chart, especially, the oxygen variation chart, and was told just give it time to get use to it, as though this would make things better? According to what I have seen from most people, we are in agreement, this is not better or something that will get better with any amount of time. We all better seek medical attention right away  !!!  Seems we all have severe sleep apnea.. 😭 Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

I have the Versa 2, no problem "so far" on the sleep score, but the oxygen variations...wow !!! If I went by that, I am surprised I am still here !!! I think with the money we have to pay for their products, they should want to keep the customers happier...Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

In that case it means Fitbit has been giving us all false information about a serious condition.

"...give it time to get use to it..."  that's just stupid.
