Same problem here since an hour ago.

Only when I try to open the challenge in progress, Pohono trail, the app keeps crashing.
The other challenges in progress, Workweek hustle and Weekend warrior, cause no problems.

I had to delete all the app data and cache, but everything works now after I logged back in.  May be worth letting folks know they need to do this as I was still getting crashes up to this point.

FYI I did this after FitBit identified the problem at their side, as previous attempts didn't resolve it.  If you  tried this yesterday and it didn't help, give it a go now and it should work.

Mine started working once I had cleared my data and cache then logged back in.

How do I do this?

Same here. Happy its finally fixed but agree moderator needs to make the steps to get the fix clearer

Depending on your phone and Android version it may be slightly different, however you'll want to got to Settings -Apps , then find and select Fitbit.  From here select Storage and Cache.  Just clear both the Cache and the Data.  You will then be asked to log in when you open the app.

So since yesterday I did some exercise on my bike and as I was mentally trying to put it in my exercise thing and my Fitbit every time I clicked on the exercise I got kicked out of the Fitbit app all together I'm not sure what's happening I just thought you should know that the exercise is still crashing and I would really like every start working

Hi,

I dont have trouble opening the app, but whenever I click on a fuction (steps, record food, look at activity) the app then crashes.

I have a charge2 and a Samsung s10.

I have uninstalled

I have restarted the phone

I have deleted cache

I have checked the app isnt on my SD card and downloaded to my phone.

Ive never had issues before so some guidance would be appreciated. I believe S10 is compatible (as per the list you previously sent!) So i really dont know what is happening!

Thanks

Have you tried the suggested fix above?  This should now be resolved, providing you cleared out your app data and cache.

Will it work if I do that ?

Won't do any harm to give it a go.  It did resolve it for me.  You will be asked to log back into the app once you clear out the cache and data.
