Best AnswerThat's what I was afraid would happen by deleting user data. Sorry that happened. I don't know of a way to get the data back.
Best AnswerWell I just pulled the plug and did it, went to apps/fitbit/storage on phone(Note5), my options were clear Data, and clear Cache. Cleared Data. It warned about loss of logons, data, ect.. Just did it! Backed out to home screen(phone). Started FitBit app. Hit Logon, typed e-mail and password, It loaded all my data back and wonder of wonders, exercise tile works! Yay. Btw, Cache showed empty (0 bytes) when I cleared Data.
The data isn't stored directly on your phone forever, it's pushed to servers so that you can access from anywhere. Double check that you've not used another email address to login.
Unfortunately it looks like their app stored some data incorrectly with an update and it'll continue to crash until you wipe it. It would be nice if they fixed the app to handle this error though rather than us having to clear it.
My wife’s app won’t let her log in. She was logged in all day, now the IOS app is saying she doesn’t exist. Tried logging into the website, again states her account doesn’t exist. Password hasn’t been changed.

Best AnswerI had similar issue and concern. I logged into my account on a web browser (fitbit.com) and checked my latest exercise data had synced with the Fitbit server and was there before I cleared storage and cache from my Fitbit phone app setting. I logged back into my phone app and everything was there and the exercise tile worked again. Good luck!
Best AnswerNo it will all still be saved, I was worried I would delete everything also but its safe
